Although this blog is not actually complete yet (kinda missing a nice banner, will get onto that in the next few days), I will begin with the basics, which are my gaming gears. Expecting to see PS3, Xbox360 or Wii flooding the living room? Well guess again. To date I only have a laptop powered by Core Duo 1.66ghz, 1.5gb ddr2 ram and a Mobility ATI x1600. Quite okay in running current games at medium settings but I can be pretty sure it’s gonna clog up with those graphic intensive ones. And being a guy who can’t live with anything below medium, I guess I have to bare with the lag *sigh*

Next as you can see, is an old yet still living Playstation 2. Even thought the new generation consoles are already been around for a while, games are still being produced for the Playstation 2. God of War II, Kingdom Hearts II Final Mix, and Dawn of Mana to name a few. It’s kinda sad to see Xbox and Gamecube being left to dead so early after their brothers came to the surface. If you recall back in the year 2001, Ps 1 was still going on strong for about a year after Ps 2 was launched before calling it quits. I guess we can see history repeat itself again for the Ps2.

Last but not least, would be the Nintendo DS. My girlfriend got it for me last February and since then I have been playing it none stop. I’m sure most people would be thinking “Why a DS? PSP is far more superior!”. I do have to agree that PSP is far superior in terms of graphics and software content. However when it comes to unique gameplay, DS wins hands down. Two screens with one being touch type, developers can sure think of creative ways to enhance a game.

That’s all I have for my gaming hardware. In the future, I hope to get my hands on a PS3 or a Wii. Perhaps one will drop down from the sky … hmmm? (If possible make that two!)
