Time sure flies in a blink of an eye. Back in May 07, I was writing this post regarding my anticipated games for the two handhelds. Ironically, in that particular post I was hoping for a certain scenario not to happen and guess what? It DID happen afterall! Talk about “luck”.
Here’s the quote from my old post
The bad thing is that … it’s going to make a huge dent in your wallet if your favourite games start pouring out at the same time. Although the games which I wanted isn’t out yet on the shelves, I just pray they don’t release them together. Give me some time to save and finish off the other games will ya!?
If you read my previous post I’m pretty sure you could guess where I’m going from here. For those who are unaware, here’s a quick recap;
Crisis Core: Final Fantasy 7 – We all know the general idea of the story and most importantly, we’re VERY familiar with how the story would end. Yet it’s still one of the most anticipated games and its probably safe to say that every Final Fantasy fan with a PSP would buy it, and those who don’t might actually picked up a PSP just for this.
God of War: Chains of Olympus – Kratos is back in this prequel and he’s still having fun with the half naked girls trashing about enemies. Literally a mobile version of the God of War series with a new storyline and more new areas to explore. This Kratos may be small on screen but plays just as big as its siblings, if not bigger.
Ninja Gaiden Dragon Sword – Dead or Alive creator Tomonobu Itagaki brings you the latest Ninja Gaiden installment to the Nintendo DS, a first ever on a handheld. Judging by how the gameplay and graphic goes in the video previews, this feels like the game that will push the DS to its limits. Be careful not to break your touchscreen.
Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles: Ring of Fates – A sequel to Crystal Chronicles back on the Gamecube. I don’t really know much in detail about this game but it is said to be more single-player friendly as compared to the original. Ring of Fates features both local wireless and wifi (to trade customized moogles) gameplay.
You might also want to check out Naruto: Ninja Destiny (Versus), Nanostray 2 (3D Shooter) and Pro Evolution Soccer (Football) on the NDS. PSP owners would definitely want to check out Patapon. [Patapon Demo Hands On]
Yeap, really gaming madness for March 08 and I have yet to mention any games on the consoles. Personally I have Super Smash Bros Brawl on my wanted list.
Now where’s that postman with my damn Gamecube controller!?
