Chains of Olympus

I am Kratos!

That’s right folks! March 2008 is finally here with God of War: Chains of Olympus kicking start on the PlayStation Portable. As expected the game received high scores from most reviewers despite the 5 hour long only gameplay. That does seem pretty short but who the heck cares. I mean the PSP is seriously lacking good hack and slash games and we finally have God of War to fill in the gap for the time being. Sadly, as much as I want to go out and grab the game off the shelf this instant, I can’t. Been a bit of a spending frenzi for the past couple of weeks you might say.

While I’m on the topic regarding PSP, Play-Asia is offering Namco Museum @ USD $6.99 for a limited period only. A good time to pick this little gem up no doubt.

Gamecube Controller

Goes well with the Nintendo Wii’s color

Sometimes you think that by buying cheap imitations or unknown 3rd party products, you will be able to save money as compared to buying the originals. That’s not always the case it seems. After 4 months of usage my cheap Gamecube controller decides to go bonkers on me, thus forcing me to grab the original off Play-Asia. At least I’m pretty confident that it will be able to withstand the torture of button mashing when playing Super Smash Bros. Brawl! No doubt the Gamecube controller is the only way to go.

On a side note, me and Neko just purchase InvisibleShield protective cover for the PSP and NDS at an amazing half price. It is actually a very durable transparent cover that keeps your system from scratches. It’s not just limited to handheld consoles, there are also covers for Ipod, Iphone, handphones, camera LCDs, laptops etc. Check out this forum to see how you can get 50% discount off the hook.

And for those who are extremely bored (and lazy in this sense) might want to check out “Control Winamp from Nintendo DS Browser“. Nothing beats having able to change the winamp musics at the comforts of one’s bed.
